SOUTH BEND - Pauline Manring, 95, of Marion
Street, died at 7:05 a.m. Tuesday in Meridian Nursing
Center-Cardinal. Mrs. Manring was born Nov. 8, 1898, in Howard
County, Ind., and lived in South Bend for 25 years, coming from
Kokomo.
On May 30, 1917, she married Paul E. Garber.
He died in 1949. In June 1952, she married Vern Manring. He died
in 1962. She is survived by three daughters, Florence Brunk
of Naples, Fla., Jean Foy of Plymouth, and Ramona Gillon
of South Bend; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and
10 great-great-grandchildren. One grandchild is deceased. She was
a member of the Kokomo Moose Lodge for 48 years.
Graveside services and burial will be at 1
p.m. Saturday in Crown Point Cemetery, Kokomo. Friends may call
from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N.
William St.
