Theresa M. Manijak

SOUTH BEND - Theresa M. Manijak, 80, passed away at 10:10 p.m. on June 19, in St. Joseph Regional Medical Center. Theresa was born on June 7, 1928 in South Bend to the late Louis and Mary (Tirotta) Rodino.

On January 19, 1952 she married Frank J. Manijak in South Bend, he preceded her in death on August 6, 2006. She is also preceded in death by four sisters, Kate Palatin, Rose Rodino, Lena Perry and Julia Kambol; and by a brother, Frank Rodino. She is survived by her two daughters, Pamela Ann (Mark) Brzezinski of South Bend and Nancy Manijak of South Bend; two grandsons, Michael Brzezinski of South Bend and David (Ashley) Brzezinski of Ft. Wayne; great-grandson, Ryan Brzezinski of Freedom, NY; two sisters, Josephine Brekrus of South Bend and Betty (John) Morroni of South Bend; and two brothers, Rocco Rodino of Kokomo and Louis Rodino of Lakeville, IN. Theresa was a member of St. Adalbert Catholic Church. She was an excellent cook, sewer and homemaker. She loved sports on TV especially Notre Dame football and basketball, Chicago Bulls basketball and tennis.

Family and friends will meet for a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, June 23, 2008 at 1 p.m. in St. Adalbert Catholic Church. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, South Bend. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Adalbert Catholic Church, 2505 W. Grace St., South Bend, IN 46619 or to Arthritis Foundation, Indiana Chapter, P.O.
