Edward D. Manchow (Aug. 5, 1928 -- Dec. 26,
2005)
Edward D. Manchow, 77, of Mishawaka, IN,
died at 8:25 a.m. Monday, December 26, 2005, in Regency Place of
South Bend.
He was born August 5, 1928, in South Bend,
to John T. and Beverly (Hickman) Manchow, and had remained
a lifelong resident of this area.
He was preceded in death by his father, John
T. Manchow in 1958, and by his mother, Beverly E. Bricker on April
22, 1999.
Mr. Manchow retired from the J.C. Penney
Dept. Store in 1992 and from ARA Vending. He was a member of
Robinhood Golf Course, Mishawaka Elks Lodge, and South Bend Moose
Lodge #58. He proudly served his country in the U. S. Army during
the Korean Conflict
He is survived by a daughter, Robin K. Fetters
of Canton, GA; a son, John M. Manchow of Mishawaka; a
stepdaughter, Frances (Edward) Cenkush of South Bend; a
stepson, Steven (Barbara) Varro of Nashville, TN; two
grandchildren, Sheila (Clint) DeWispelaere of Houston, TX,
and Deanna DeBaets of South Bend; and seven
great-grandchildren. Also surviving Ed are his sister, Betty
(Thomas) Hagedorn of South Bend; a niece, Stephanie Shannon
of Louisville, KY; and a nephew, Richard (Marie) Kruk of Mishawaka,
IN.
No services are planned and cremation will
take place at Southlawn Cremation Services.

arrangements.
