Rosa P. Malstaff

September 25, 1917 – January 30, 1993

Rosa Pauline Malstaff, 75, of 751 N. Allen St, died at 6:40am Saturday in Memorial Hospital following an illness.  Mr. Malstaff retired as a waitress from the former Pick Oliver Hotel in 1976 after 25 years of service.

She was born September 15, 1917, in Hobbs IN and moved to South Bend in 1947 from Van Nuys CA.  On November 11, 1952, in South Bend, she married George H. Malstaff.  He survives with a daughter, Leona Stump of Niles; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren; a sister, Marjorie Jarrell of Anderson IN; and a brother, George Perry of Anderson.  She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 189.

Services will be at 11am Wednesday in the Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William St.  Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.  Friends may call from 2 to 4pm Tuesday in the funeral home.
