NORTH LIBERTY - Robert A. Malkowski, 78, of North Liberty, IN, passed away at 7:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 3, 2010 in his home. He was born on June 9, 1931 in West Ellis, WI to Barney and Mary (Marek) Malkowski. On August 1, 1953 in St. Patrick Church in Walkerton, he married Juanita (Six) Malkowski, who preceded him in death on November 22, 2009. Mr. Malkowski is survived by six children, Linda (Jay) Buchtel of Walkerton, IN, Dan Malkowski of Walkerton, IN, Patrick Malkowski of Grand Rapids, MI, Jim Malkowski of Walkerton, IN, Karen Law of New Holland, PA and Rosemarie (Kerry) Knape of Walkerton, IN; seventeen grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; sisters, Dorothy (Ervin) Bruhn, Phyllis (Tony) Adyniec and Rosalee (Joseph) Petruzello and sister-in-law, Judy Malkowski, all of WI. He was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Malkowski. Mr. Malkowski served his country honorably in the United States Marine Corp. He retired from Wheelhorse in the model shop after twenty two years of service. Mr. Malkowski was 3rd and 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus. A Memorial Mass will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 6, 2010 in St. Patrick Catholic Church, 810 Tyler St., Walkerton, IN. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Saturday in church. Palmer Funeral Home-Lakeville is handling the arrangements. Contributions in memory of Robert A.
