Violet M. Mais, 67, was born on May 27, 1930, in Oklahoma, and was a lifetime resident of the South Bend-Mishawaka area.

On May 5, 1951, in South Bend, Ind., she married Rollin C. Mais, who preceded her in death on Jan. 11, 1991.

She is survived by two daughters, Laura Fahey and Lorraine Fisher, both of South Bend; a son, Dale Eugene Mais of Valley Center, Calif.; and by five grandchildren.

Friends called from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Friday morning in the Palmer Funeral Home in South Bend. Services were held immediately following, with burial taking place in Highland Cemetery of South Bend.

The Palmer Funeral Home of South Bend was in charge of arrangements.
