Kevin P. Mahon, 23, of 19595 Sherwood, was found dead at about 4 PM Tuesday in the garage of his family home.  A ruling of suicide by hanging has been made by Dr. Stanley Koscielski County corner.

Born July 29, 1952 in South Bend, he had lived here his lifetime.  Surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. T. Mahon with whom he lived; three brothers, John and Maurice both of South Bend and Lawrence of Detroit; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Ross of Phoenix, Arizona, and Therese at home, and paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Edward J. Mahon of South Bend.  Services will be at 11 AM Thursday in Christ Became Catholic Church.  Reverend Martin C. Rini, CFC, pastor, will officiate.  Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park.  Friends may call from 7 to 9 PM today in the Hickey Funeral Home, 3516 East Jefferson, were a Rosary will be recited at 7:30 PM today.  He was a graduate as St. Joseph's high school.
