MISHAWAKA - Wilma "Hazel" Mahoney, 99, of Mishawaka, died Thursday April 8, 2010. She was born in Plymouth, Indiana, on August 4, 1910, to Isaac and Louisa (Long) Martin. Hazel was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Mahoney in 1982, and by her sister, Ferda Bartels. Mrs. Mahoney is survived by three sons, James (Beryl) Mahoney of Bloomington, IN, William (Susanne) Mahoney of Mishawaka and Richard (Dianne) Mahoney of Sedona, AZ; eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. She was a member of Sunnyside Presbyterian Church and belonged to the Monday Afternoon Ladies Bowling League. Friends may visit with the family on Monday, April 12, 2010, from 11 to 1 p.m. in the Bubb Funeral Chapel where a funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
