Obituary: Judith Ann Mahoney

July 17, 1940 -- May 26, 2003

Judith Ann (Kovatch) Mahoney, 62, of Alpharetta, Ga., formerly of South Bend, Ind., died Monday, May 26, in Georgia. Judith Ann was an assistant contract analyst for Miran Energy.

She was born July 17, 1940, in South Bend, to John P. and Bernice (Walkowiak) Kovatch, who preceded her in death. She had lived in the Atlanta area since 1997 after living in South Bend for 57 years.

She is survived by two daughters, Mary Korn of Roswell, Ga., and Molly Kraker of Alpharetta; a son, Dan Mahoney of Dunwoody, Ga.; six grandchildren; a sister, Janice Brennan of South Bend; and by a brother, Stephen Kovatch of Cincinnati, Ohio.

Memorial Mass will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, May 30, in the Little Flower Catholic Church, South Bend. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger, Ind. Friends will be received in the church from one hour before services on Friday.
