Funeral services for Sister M. Conciline, C.S.C., 84, who died at 11:30 p.m. Friday at St. Mary’s Convent, Notre Dame, after a lengthy illness, were held at 6:40 a.m. today in the Church of Loretto on St. Mary’s campus. Born Kathleen Maher on Dec. 8, 1885 in County Tipperary, Ireland, she came to the U.S. in 1906 and entered the order on Aug. 6 of that year. She made her profession of vows in 1909. She taught in schools in Washington, D.C., Virginian, Maryland, Illinois and Indiana. In 1941, she was transferred to the schools in Utah, California and Idaho. She came to St. Mary’s Convent when she retired in 1960.
