Kimberly Marie Magera, 14 years old,
residing on Byrkit Avenue in Mishawaka, passed away on Saturday
morning, June 9, 2001. Kim was born on April 2, 1987, in
Mishawaka, and lived in Mishawaka all of her life. She recently
completed the eighth grade at John Young Middle School in
Mishawaka. Surviving family members include her mother, Lisa
Magera of Mishawaka; one brother, Cody Wagoner, at home;
maternal grandparents, Louise and Jim Magera of South Bend;
maternal great-grandmother, Rosemary "G.G." Hums of
Mishawaka; uncle, Joe Magera of South Bend; aunt and uncle, Amy
(Magera) and Johnie Neace of Mishawaka; with cousins,
Zachery and Megan. Lisa and Kim's friend, Ed Trifone of
Niles, MI, also survives.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M.
on Wednesday, June 13, 2001, at the Palmer Funeral Home, 2528
Mishawaka Avenue, South Bend. Rev. Gene A. Eckerley, pastor of
Community Brethren Church in Mishawaka, and Father Bill Seetch,
C.S.C., will officiate. Private burial will take place. Friends
may visit with the family from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. on Tuesday, June
12, at the Palmer Funeral Home, South Bend, where a Rosary will
be held at 3:30 P.M. Contributions in memory of Kimberly Marie
Magera may be donated to Life Station, Inc., 55255 Bittersweet
Road, Mishawaka, IN 46545.
