Sister Mary Angelus CSC, of St. Mary’s Convent, died Thursday morning in the convent after a few days’ illness of pneumonia. She had retired severay years ago. She was born in Ireland and before receiving her habit was Miss Katherine Madigan. She was professed into the Congregation of Holy Cross in 1877 and had been a teacher in easteran schools of the order for a number of years.

Funeral services were held today at St. Mary’s and burial was in the community cemetery.
