SOUTH BEND - Silvo John Macri, 70, of
Indianapolis, formerly of South Bend, died of natural causes
Tuesday in his home. Mr. Macri retired in 1994 as the owner of
Macri's Italian Village Restaurant, Indianapolis, after 43 years
of service.
He was born Sept. 10, 1925, in South Bend.
He is survived by four daughters: Toni Macri Reiner,
Katelyn Macri, Gina Hayden and Giovanna Macri Russell,
all of Indianapolis; an adopted daughter, Denise Reid of
California; a son, Victor of Indianapolis; nine grandchildren;
three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Vera Agostino of
South Bend and Ida DeBlase of Indianapolis; and a brother,
Joseph of Indianapolis. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Sacred
Heart Catholic Church, Indianapolis. Friends may call from noon
to 8 p.m. Monday in Flanner & Buchanan Broad Ripple Mortuary,
Indianapolis, where prayer services will be at 7:30 p.m. Memorial
