NEW CARLISLE - Scott Allen Clark MacDonald, 45, of New
Carlisle, IN, passed away Saturday, September 13, 2008, at home
after a long battle with Huntington's Disease. Scott was born on
June 22, 1963, in LaPorte, Indiana, to LaRue J. and Janice (Ray)
Clark. Scott was the owner and operator of Home Town
Motors in McAlester, Oklahoma, and Rolling Prairie, Indiana. He
had also owned the Black Smith Shop Restaurant, Rolling Prairie,
Indiana, owned Auto Tek Auto Detailing and was a realtor, both in
Santa Maria, California. Scott was formerly married to Kelly Ann
(Davis) MacDonald. Surviving are his mother, Janice
"Jan" MacDonald of New Carlisle, Indiana; his father,
LaRue J. (Maureen) Clark of South Bend, Indiana; his brother,
John C. Clark of New Carlisle, Indiana; a stepsister, C.C. (Jim) Riorden
of California; aunts, Nancy Wickizer of New Carlisle,
Indiana, Reva (Larry) Cooper of New Carlisle, Indiana, and
Phyllis (Tom) Tag of Chicago, Illinois; and nieces and
nephews, Heather (Eric) Torstenson, Christopher Clark,
Brittney and Amanda Smith, and Jaylen Riorden. His
stepfather, Arnold "Mac" MacDonald, preceded him in
death. Scott graduated from Rincon Valley Christian High School
in Santa Rosa, California, and Santa Barbara Business College in
Santa Barbara, California. He was a member of the Community
Church in New Carlisle, was an Eagle Scout recipient at the age
of 13, and was scoutmaster of Troop 349 in New Carlisle for
several years. He loved to race cars, and show antique cars,
being a member of the Blue Mountain Cruisers Car Club in
Hartsthorne, Oklahoma. Scott also played softball and bowled, and
loved to volunteer his time to help others.
Memorial services will be held at 4 PM
Saturday, Sept. 20, in the Community Christian Church, 201 W.
Michigan St., New Carlisle, IN, where friends may call two hours
prior to services. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may
be made to Huntington's Disease Society of America, Indiana
Chapter, P.O. Box 2101, Indianapolis, IN 46206.
