SOUTH BEND - Wilbur H. Lynn, 81, of North Lawrence Street, died at 1 a.m. Saturday after an illness in the home of his son. Mr. Lynn was an inspector and retired from Torrington in 1979 after 37 years. He was born July 28, 1914, in Battle Creek, Mich., and lived here most of his life.
On June 7, 1941, in South Bend, he married Elma M. Nettrour. She survives with a daughter, Diana Kurtz of Mishawaka; a son, Marlin J. of South Bend; two grandsons; and a great-granddaughter. A daughter, Linda Lynn, died in 1987. He was a member of Torrington Retirees Club.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Apostolic Faith Temple, Mishawaka. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday in Guisinger Colonial Chapel Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of St. Joseph County.
