SOUTH BEND - James M. Lykowski, 60, residing in South
Bend, passed away at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, 2007, in the
Ironwood Health & Rehabilitation Center. He was born July 19,
1947, in South Bend, to Henry and Edna (Potter) Lykowski,
and had remained a lifelong resident of this community.
On July 30, 1977, in South Bend, he was
united in marriage to Rosanna C. Lamb, who survives. He is
also survived by a son, Michael R. Lykowski of South Bend; a
sister, Barbara (Ralph) Neri in Pinckney, MI; and two
brothers, Timothy (Kathy) Lykowski and Thomas (Diane) Lykowski,
all of South Bend. Mr. Lykowski served his country in the United
States Army during the Vietnam War. He was a self-employed real
estate appraiser, and graduated from Indiana University of South
Bend
Memorial services will be at 2:00 p.m.
Wednesday, Dec. 5, in the Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel,
3718 South Michigan Street, South Bend. Rev. Ed Erskin will
officiate. Cremation will take place at Southlawn Cremation
Services. There will be no visitation.
