Edward J. Lyczynski
Aug. 17, 1929 – July 30, 1975
SOUTH BEND – Edward J. Lyczynski,
45, of 831 S. Brookfield, died at 11:04 in Osteopathic Hospital
after a seven-month illness. He was a maintenance department
employee of the University of Notre Dame for six years. Born on
Aug. 17, 1929, in South Bend he lived here his lifetime.
Surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Edward E. Lyczynski, South Bend; a sister, Mrs. Mary Ann Lula
of South Bend and a niece and nephew.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in St.
Mary’s Polish National Catholic Church with Msgr. Joseph C.
Zawistowski, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph
Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 9 p.m.
Friday in the Kaniewski and Sons Funeral Home, where a parish
rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Friday. He was a veteran of
the Korean War and a member of the Polish American Civic Club.
