Thomas S. Lupa

Thomas S. Lupa, 59, of Dennis Drive, died at 2:10 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 16, in St. Joseph's Medical Center.

Mr. Lupa was born on Dec. 17, 1937, in South Bend, Ind., and was a lifelong area resident.

On April 30, 1960, in South Bend, he married Evelyn Pipke, who survives. He is also survived by two daughters, Tommye Bayne of South Bend and Barbara Suter of Mishawaka, Ind.; a son, Steven Lupa of South Bend; seven grandchildren; and by two sisters, Maxine Campbell of Mishawaka and Sandra Pierce of Osceola, Ind.

Mr. Lupa was a peacetime veteran.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday in St. Pius X Church. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive.
