SOUTH BEND - Sister M. Gerardine, CSC (Mary Helen Ludwick), 84, of Saint Mary's Convent, died Monday in her residence.

Survivors include two sisters, Teresa Perlick of South Bend and Loretta Goodwin of Erie, Pa.; and a brother, Robert J. Ludwick of Clarence Center, N.Y.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Church of Loretto, Saint Mary's, where friends may call after 3 p.m. today and where a wake service will be at 7 p.m. Hickey Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
