SOUTH BEND - Edward F. Luczkowski, 77, of Butternut Road, died Friday at St. Joseph's Medical Center after an illness. Mr. Luczkowski retired from Mastic Corp. He was born April 27, 1916, in South Bend.

On Sept. 27, 1940, in South Bend, he married Martha Zagrzejewski. She survives, with two daughters, Vicki Gorbitz of Granger and Patricia Chmielewski of South Bend; five grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and a sister, Dorothy Shriener of Niles, Ill. He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, St. Joseph Young Men's Society, and was a veteran of World War II.

Services will be at 9 a.m. Monday in St. Joseph Funeral Home. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.
