Hildegarde G. Lovechio

Jan. 4, 1924 - July 20, 1998

Hildegarde G. Lovechio, 74, of Mishawaka, Ind., passed away after a sudden illness at 12:30 p.m. on Monday, July 20, in Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pa.

Hildegarde was born on Jan. 4, 1924, in South Bend, Ind., and was a lifelong area resident.

She was formerly employed by Shopper's Fair for 11 years as a receiving clerk.

Hildegarde was past president of the VFW #360 Ladies Auxiliary, past president of the Presidents Club, life member of the National Home, was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Rosary Circle.

On July 27, 1946, in South Bend, Hildegarde Niespodziany married Louis Lovechio, who passed away on Aug. 4, 1996.

She is survived by a daughter, Sharon Birdwell of Argos, Ind.; two sons, Larry Lovechio of Mishawaka and Tom Lovechio of Bourbon, Ind.; and by five grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. on Friday in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Mishawaka.

Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today in the Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main Street, Mishawaka, where a Rosary service will be said at 4 p.m. Entombment will be at Fairview Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
