SOUTH BEND - Andres R. Lopez Sr., 55, of 58977 Mayflower Road, died of natural causes at 11:28 a.m. Friday in St. Joseph's Medical Center. Mr. Lopez worked for Martin Blad Farms. He was born Dec. 5, 1938, in Mexico, coming here 45 years ago.

On Oct. 21, 1957, in South Bend, he married Bertha O. Olivarez. She survives with three daughters, Marie Lopez, San Juanita Gallegos and Martina Ruiz, all of South Bend; six sons, Andres Jr., Robert Sr., Johnny Sr., Mario, Marcus and Benito, all of South Bend; 10 grandchildren; his mother, Agriepina Lopez of West Waco, Texas; two sisters, Suzanna Gutterusez of St. Charles, Mich., and Livoria Gonzalas of St. Paul, Minn.; and two brothers, Nicholas and Ampado, both of St. Paul.

He was a member of St. Stephen Catholic Church. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in the church. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday in St. Joseph
