Sister Mary Dolorita CSC, 85, died this morning in St. Mary’s Convent after a lingering illness. Born Mary Long in Northcannon, Ireland on Aug 23, 1885, she entered the Congregation of the Sisters of the Holy Cross in August of 1906 and made her profession on Dec. 10, 1908. She was assigned to duties in South Bend, Anderson and in Salt Lake City, and served as a Dormitorian at St. Mary’s College before retiring to reside in St. Mary’s Convent. She is survived by a sister, Sister M. Annunico CSC of St. Paul’s Convent in New York City.

Friends may call up to the time of services in  convent parlors where a wake service will be at 7 p.m. today. Services will be at 4 p.m. Friday in Our Lady of Loretto Church, with burial in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery on the campus.
