George Longshore

SOUTH BEND - George Longshore, age 51 years, 822 South Marietta street, died Sunday morning at 1:35 o'clock following an illness of several months. He was born in Valparaiso, Ind., May 25, 1870 and had been a resident of this city for 24 years.

Surviving are his wife, Mary; one son, Howard, of this city, and three brothers, Frank L. Longshore, CW Longshore and JA Longshore, all of Valparaiso. Mr. Longshore was a member of South Bend lodge, No. 325, BPOE.

Short funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 1 o'clock at the residence with the Elks lodge in charge. The body will be taken to Valparaiso where funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 1 o'clock at the residence of Frank L Longshore. Rev CE Burns, of the Christian church in Valparaiso, officiating. Burial will be in the cemetery in Valparaiso.
