Mrs Lucille Long

November 29, 1906 – December 22, 1976

Mrs. Lucille (Shirk) Long, 70, of 3112 Mishawaka Avenue, died at 9am today in St Joseph’s Hospital after a brief illness.  She was a clerk in the credit department of Memorial Hospital.

She was born November 29, 1906, in South Bend and had lived here all her life.  Surviving is a sister, Miss Ruth L. Shirk of South Bend.

Friends may call form 2 to 8pm Thursday in the Hollis-Palmer Funeral Home, 2528 Mishawaka Avenue, where services will be at 11am Friday with Mike Greenwood, assistant pastor of Harris Prairie Church of Christ, officiating.  Burial will be in Hamilton Grove Cemetery, New Carlisle.
