Timothy R. Longley, 59, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 21, in Rockwall, Texas. He was born on May 19, 1941, in South Bend, Ind., to Roland H. and Betty Palmer Longley.
Mr. Longley served in the United States Navy. He was a longtime member of the Elks Club in South Bend, and the Knollwood Country Club where he was an avid golfer. For 20 years he owned and operated four music stores, Drumville Guitarland in South Bend and Indianapolis, Ind., and Columbus and Dayton, Ohio. He was employed with Rainsoft and Culligan Water Treatments in Indiana and Michigan for 15 years. Mr. Longley was a member of the New Life Christian Fellowship in Dallas, and loved the Lord with all his heart.
He is survived by his wife, Dianne Longley of Rockwall; two sons, Reverend Ted Blair of Sachse, Texas, and Tim Blair of St. Petersburg, Fla.; a daughter, Staff Sergeant Theresa Robinson of Richmond Hills, Ga.; his parents, Roland and Betty Longley of South Bend; a sister, Jenny Bernhardt; two grandchildren, Brandon Robinson of Richmond Hills and Noel Blair of Sachse; and by two nephews, Scott and Denny of South Bend.
