SOUTH Bend - Hiram T. Longaker, 89,
of 2414 S. Michigan Street, died this morning in his residence
after an illness of several months. He was born in St. Joseph
County Dec. 16, 1861, and was married in 1893 to Miss Mary Zimmerman,
who survives. Also surviving is a son Howard of South Bend.
Friends may call after noon Wednesday in the Hollis Chapel, until funeral services there at 2:30 p.m. Burial will be in Southlawn Cemetery. He was a member of the Brotherhood of Carpenters & Joiners Local #413 AFL.
