SOUTH BEND - Margaret Mary Logan, 61, of Tempe, Ariz., formerly of South Bend, died Tuesday in her home after an illness. Mrs. Logan was a housing specialist.

She was born Nov. 5, 1932, in South Bend and lived in Arizona 16 years, going there from South Bend. She is survived by three daughters, Kristin Pearson of Ridgewood, N.J., Julie Brown of LaGrange, and Molly McCormick of Tempe; a son, Sean of Tempe; seven grandchildren; her mother, Margaret Anne Jones of Tempe; a sister, Jane Anne O'Malley of Phoenix, Ariz.; and two brothers, James R. Jones of Tempe and H. Michael Jones of South Bend.

Services were held today in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, Tempe. Burial was in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Mesa, Ariz. Messinger Mortuary, Scottsdale, Ariz., is in charge of arrangements.
