Mrs. Irene (Thomas) Lodholtz
Mrs. Irene (Thomas) Lodholtz, 70, of 2114 Leer St., died at 9 a.m. Sunday in Memorial Hospital, after a lengthy illness. She was born Sept. 20, 1912, in South Bend and was a lifetime area resident. In 1933, in South Bend, she married Ronald Thomas who died Feb. 25, 1953. On March 7, 1964, in south Bend, she married August Lodholtz, who died in February 1963. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. JoAnn Crieder and Mrs. Shirley Takacs, both of Mishawaka; a son, Ronald Thomas of Mishawaka; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Joseph and Steve Sigety, both of South Bend.
Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Zahoran Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Mahoney, pastor of Our Lady of Hungary Catholic Church, officiating. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today in the funeral home.
