Irene
Loczi (May 16, 1921 - Dec. 25, 1990).
SOUTH
BEND - Irene Loczi, 69, of Kalamazoo, formerly of South
Bend, died at 10:40 p.m. Tuesday in the home of her daughter in Kalamazoo
after an illness. Mrs. Loczi was born May 16, 1921 in
Crumstown and lived in South Bend most of her life. On Feb.
7, 1942, in South Bend, as Irene Boka, she married Geza
Loczi. He died Dec. 29, 1988. She is survived by two
daughters, Irene Williams of Kalamazoo and Missy Duddleson
of South Bend; two sons, Geza of Los Angeles and Jerry of
Osceola; 10 grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and a brother,
Steve Gaul of South Bend. She was a member of
Memorial United Presbyterian Church where she taught Sunday
school for 15 years and also taught Sunday school in Arizona.
Services
will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Memorial United Presbyterian Church.
Burial will be at Highland Cemetery. Friends may call from 3
to 8 p.m. Thursday in St. Joseph Funeral Home. Memorial
contributions may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
