Pauline Locks

SOUTH BEND - Pauline Locks, 87, passed away peacefully in
her home on Thursday, June 26th. Pauline was born on April 17,
1921, in Mishawaka, as the daughter of Frank and Mabel (Long)
Boner. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters,
Dorothy Kistler, Elizabeth Wharton and Kathryn Umbaugh;
and brothers, Warren Boner and John Boner.
On August 26, 1946, in Angola, IN, she
married William Locks, who preceded her in death on October 27,
1967. Surviving Pauline are her daughter, Judith (Patrick) McGhan
of Granger; a son, John Locks of South Bend; four grandchildren,
Adrienne Locks of Springfield, IL, Brandon, Lauren and Ryan
McGhan, all of Granger; two sisters, Jane Crowl of
Elkhart, IN, and Maxine Iverson of Kansas City, MO; and a
brother, James Boner of Mishawaka. Pauline was a graduate of the
Epworth School of Nursing in South Bend and spent her life in the
nursing profession helping and caring for others. She was a
member of Little Flower Catholic Church in South Bend.
A private Mass of Christian Burial was held
on Monday, June 30th, in Little Flower Catholic Church, South
Bend, with entombment at Riverview Cemetery in South Bend. Hahn
Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th St., Mishawaka, was in charge of
arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to Little Flower
