SOUTH BEND - Clara Litznerski, 82, formerly of North Johnson Street, died at 11:10 a.m. Sunday in St. Paul's Healthcare Center. Mrs. Litznerski retired from the University of Notre Dame.

She was born Oct. 30, 1912, in South Bend. On July 31, 1967, in South Bend, as Clara Wisniewski, she married Edward Litznerski. He died in 1986. She is survived by a stepdaughter, Judy Litznerski of South Bend; and a sister, Bernice Prentkowski of South Bend.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Holy Cross Catholic Church. Entombment will be in Resurrection Gardens Mausoleum of St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 5 and 6 to 8 p.m. today in St. Joseph Funeral Home, where a parish rosary will be said at 4 p.m.
