Stanley F. Lisek: (South Bend Tribune 12/8/1950)
Stanley F. Lisek, aged 60, of rural route No. 1., Crumstown, this
county, world war I veteran, died in his home at 2:20 a.m. today,
10 hours following a cerebral hemorrhage. Born in South Bend Oct.
18, 1890, he lived here all his life. He was an employe of the
Studebaker corporation. Surviving are his widow, Mary; three
children, Mrs. Gertrude Niespodziany, South Bend, and Andrew and
Edward, both of Crumstown; two brothers, Frank and John, both of
South Bend; two stepbrothers, Frank Celmer, South Bend, and
William Celmer, Detroit, Mich.; two stepsisters, Mrs. Agnes
Gruber and Sister M. Gennaro, C.S.C., both of South Bend, and a
granddaughter. Friends may call in St. Joseph funeral chapel
after 7 p.m. today. The funeral will be held at 9 a.m. Monday in
St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic church in Terre Coupee, this
county, with Rev. John Wroblewski, pastor, officiating. Burial
will be in St. Joseph Polish cemetery.
