Beverly Jean Peters Likes, 83, residing in Tega Cay, South Carolina, formerly of South Bend, passed away Saturday, April 8, 2006, in her home. She was born December 3, 1922, in South Bend, to the late Haines and Florence (Syson) Peters.

She married Nelson Eugene Likes, who preceded her in death on March 6, 1992. She is survived by her only child, Jeanne Rapp, and her husband, Steve of Tega Cay; her brother, Richard Peters of Mishawaka; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Mrs. Likes retired from The Parts Exchange at the age of 83, and was a former employee of Thurston Aviation in Charlotte. She attended Tega Cay Baptist Church. She was an avid reader and enjoyed completing crossword puzzles. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
