Theresa E. "Terry" Lichkai, 71, formerly of S. Sheridan Avenue, South Bend, Ind., died at 7 p.m. on Friday, March 24, in Memorial Hospital. She was born on May 25, 1928, in South Bend, and lived in this area all of her life.

On Feb. 3, 1945, in South Bend, as Theresa Hadary, she married Stephen J. Lichkai, who survives. She is also survived by a daughter, Beverly (James) Berkshire of Elkhart, Ind.; three grandchildren, Scott Scoville of Indianapolis, Ind., Michael Berkshire of Ft. Wayne, Ind., and Patrick Berkshire of Oklahoma City, Okla.; five great-grandchildren; a sister, Marge Wickizer of South Bend; and a brother, Frank Hadary of South Bend. She was preceded in death by a sister, Rose Magdalinski.

Mrs. Lichkai was a member of the William Penn Club, Polish National Alliance Lodge #83, St. Theresa Society, and the National Federation of Republican Women.

There will be no visitation. ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Road, South Bend, is handling arrangements. Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 8, in St. Stephen's Catholic Church. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Stephen's Catholic Church.
