 Virginia A. Lezak, 82, of the Whispering Pines Nursing Home, Valparaiso IN, formerly of South Bend IN, died on Monday, May 18, in the nursing home 

Mrs. Lezak was born on September 5, 1915, in South Bend, where she lived until moving to Valparaiso in March 1995. She retired from the legal department with the City of South Bend.

 On November 28, 1935, as Virginia A. Stults, she married Henry L. Lezak, who preceded her in death on October 28, 1995.

 She is survived by three daughters, Linda (Ron) Vendl and Vicki (Pete) Peuquet, both of Valparaiso, and Lori (Roger) Barron of Myrtle Point OR; a son, James (Kristin) of Stuart FL; and by 11 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

 A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10am on Friday, May 22, in Holy Cross Catholic Church, South Bend, with entombment in Highland Cemetery.

 In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church, 1511 LaPorte Avenue, Valparaiso IN 46383.
