Joseph Lesiuk

January 6, 1890 – November 11, 1982

Joseph Lesiuk, 92, of 52660 Myrtle Ave., died at 3:45am today in his home after a two-year illness.  He was a retired barber, having been employed at the University of Notre Dame for 26 years.

He was born on January 6, 1890, in Austria and lived in South Bend since 1922, coming from Detroit.  On August 31, 1919, in Detroit, he married Stella Seidel, who survives.  Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Irene Card of South Bend and Mrs. Janice Carr of Reno NV; three sons, Ernest J of Fort Wayne, Eugene of Plymouth MI and Richard of South Bend; 16 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm Saturday and Sunday in the Welsheimer North Chapel, 52803 US 33 N.  He was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church
