SOUTH BEND - Matthew Lesinski, 80, formerly of Eastbrook Drive, passed away at 6:10 a.m., Tuesday, in Northwood Nursing Home.

Mr. Lesinski was born to Joseph and Mary (Trojinski) Lesinski on Oct. 9, 1915, in South Bend. He remained a lifelong resident. On Jan. 17, 1948, in South Bend, he married Eleanor Nettie Kazmierczak, who passed away on Feb. 17, 1996.

Mr. Lesinski was employed for 39 1/2 years with Allied-Signal Corporation, and retired in 1973.

He is survived by a son, Ronald (Ruth) Lesinski of Clovis, Calif.; two granddaughters, Cheryl Lesinski of Fresno, Calif, and Rhonda Lesinski of Oakland, Calif.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, in Corpus Christi Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery. Friends may call from 1 to 3 and 5 to 7 p.m., Friday, in Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Dr., South Bend.

Mr. Lesinski was a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church and South Bend Moose Lodge 58.
