MISHAWAKA - Allen ''Larry'' Lent, 56, of 528 Jefferson Estate, died at 10:20 p.m. Friday in Wishard Hospital, Indianapolis, following a car-motorcycle accident May 6 at Jefferson Boulevard and 26th Street in South Bend. Mr. Lent was employed by AM General Corp. He was born Nov. 14, 1938, in Kalamazoo and lived in Mishawaka since 1976. He is survived by two sons, Terry Lent of South Bend and Chad Areaux of Plainwell, Mich.; two grandchildren; and three sisters, June Stull of Otsego, Mich., Jackie Keeney of Plainwell and Annette Williams of North Liberty. A daughter, Sheryl Lent, died in 1980. He was a member of Lions Club in North Liberty, Otsego Elks, ABATE Region 1, Plainwell-Otsego Jaycees and Moose Lodge, Otsego.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph Funeral Home, South Bend. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. Memorial services will be at a later date in Michigan. Memorial contributions may be made to Muscular Dystrophy Association or any charity.
