Dorothy Gray Lekens

1921 - December 26, 1962

Mrs. Dorothy Gray Lekens, 41, of 17009 Inwood Rd., died at 7:30pm Wednesday in St Joseph's Hospital, Mishawaka. She had been ill for the last month.

Mrs. Lekens was born in South Bend and was a lifetime resident here.  As Dorothy Gray she married Edmund Lekens on May 17, 1941.  Surviving are her husband, her mother, Mrs. John Gray, of South Bend; four children, Lawrence, Linda, Leroy and Leslie, all at home, and a twin sister, Mrs. Doris Nagy, of Granger.

Friends may call in the DeVos Funeral Chapel, Mishawaka, after noon Friday.

Funeral Notes

Services will be at 11am Saturday in Our Lady of Hungary Catholic Church for Mrs. Dorothy Gray Lekens, 17009 Inwood Rd., who died Wednesday in St Joseph's Hospital, Mishawaka.  Rt Rev. Msgr. John S. Sabo, V.G., pastor of the church, will officiate and burial will be in St Joseph Valley Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be William and Arthur Gray, Anthony Gish, Harry Janiak, Raymond Losicki and Frank Doljaniac.  The rosary will be recited at 7:30pm today in the DeVos Funeral Chapel, Mishawaka.
