MISHAWAKA - Sharon Kaye (Cox) Lehman, 66, of Mishawaka,
IN, died at 9:41 p.m. Monday, October 6, 2008, in Saint Joseph
Regional Medical Center, South Bend, following a lengthy illness.
Mrs. Lehman was born June 7, 1942, in South Bend, to the late
Joseph and Valera (Trumball) Cox, and was a
lifetime area resident. On June 1, 1974, in South Bend, she
married Paul E. Lehman, who survives. Also surviving are three
daughters, Debra Stickler of Granger, Kim Lehman of
Mishawaka and Tina Graham of South Bend; one son, Richard
(Lori) Stickler Jr. of Granger; 11 grandchildren, Aaron (Beth),
Allison, Rickey, Jenna (Jesse), Ali, Brittany, Drew, Joseph,
Amanda, Bradley, and Cameron; and four great-grandchildren,
McKenzie, Jordan, Jagger and Jaden; two sisters, Carolyn Sue Anders
of South Bend and Sandra (Roger) Whisman of Waterloo, AL;
and a brother, Joseph (Sandy) Cox II of South Bend. Our mother
can be described as a woman who devoted her life to her family,
believing in family no matter what. She was a best friend to
many, providing incredible support, especially to her sisters and
her brother. When she was young, she was a member of the
International Order of the Rainbow for girls.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, October 10, 2008, in the Welsheimer Family Funeral Home North, 17033 Cleveland Road, with Rev. Larry Baker of First Brethren Church, South Bend, officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today, Oct. 9th, in the funeral home.
