Ann Leffel, 97, formerly of North Main Street, Mishawaka, Ind., passed away on Thursday, March 27, in the Ironwood Health and Rehabilitation Center. Ann was born on Oct. 12, 1905, in New York City, N.Y., to John and Julia (Kruck) Smith. Ann was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Mishawaka.

Ann married Rodney Leffel in St. Joseph, Mich., on Oct. 30, 1927. Ann was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and by two brothers and one sister. Ann is survived by a daughter, Martha Simmons of Niles, Mich.; a son; Donald R. Leffel of Mishawaka; and by five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Services have already been conducted. Burial took place at the Fairview Cemetery in Mishawaka. The Bubb Funeral Chapel handled arrangements.
