Lawrence D. Lee

Lawrence Dwight Lee, 76, of 3518 S. Langley Drive, died at 10:30 a.m. Sunday in his home after an illness. Mr. Lee was a retired engineer and former employee of Studebaker Corp. and South Bend Tool & Die Co. He was born Oct. 19, 1910, in State Center, Iowa, and had lived in South Bend for 46 years after coming from California, On Oct. 16, 1937, in DeKalb,Ill., he married the former Eugenia Moga, who survives. Also surviving are a son. Robert D. of South Bend; and a sister, Idalene Menz of Sebring, Fla.

Private services will be later. Cremation will take place with burial in Southlawn Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Guisinger Colonial Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Lee was a member of Masonic Lodge 45, K & AM. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of St. Joseph County Inc.
