SOUTH BEND - Services for Juanita Lee,
59, of 706 Rex St., who died at 4:21 p.m. Monday in St. Joseph's
Medical Center after an illness, will be at 1 p.m. Friday in Zion
Hill Baptist Church. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Friends
may call one hour before services in the church. Alford's
Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Lee was born Sept. 19, 1935, in
Palestine, Ark., and lived in South Bend since 1945. On Oct. 25,
1952, in South Bend, she married Percy Lee. He survives with
three daughters, Kathy Mincy and Jacquelyn Lee, both of
South Bend, and Denise Lee of Washington, D.C.; three sons,
Terrance and Van, both of South Bend, and Percy Jr. of Tacoma,
Wash.; 17 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; her parents,
Roberta Day of South Bend and Charlie Bond of
Palestine; two sisters, Vera Lane of South Bend and Nina Bond
of Texas; and two brothers, Tom Bond and James Bond, both of
South Bend. Two daughters, Carleen and Janice, preceded her in
death. She was a member of the church and served on its Usher
Board.
