SOUTH BEND - Services for Irene Lee,
80, of 615 N. Johnson St., who died at 6 p.m. Monday in her home
of natural causes, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Pilgrim
Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.
Friends may call one hour before services in the church. Clark's
Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Lee was a former employee of Meridian
Nursing Center in the laundry department. She was born Jan. 3,
1914, in Lilbourn, Mo., and lived in South Bend since 1946,
coming from Missouri. Her husband, Tommy Lee, preceded her in
death. She is survived by four granddaughters, Dianne Watson
of Roseland, Linda DeBerry, Karen Williams, and
Dreanna Watson, all of South Bend, and Janice Richardson
of St. Paul, Minn.; and five grandsons, Ricky Watson and Dale
Watson, both of Washington, D.C., Daryl Watson of Long Beach,
Calif., and Edward Lee and Tyronne Lee, both of South Bend. She
was a member of the church.
