Mrs. John Lebold

June 27, 1871 – April 17, 1961

Mrs. Clara Lebold, 89, of 504 N. Hill St., died at 6:15am today in her residence after an illness of three years.

She was born on June 27, 1871, in Goodland IN, and had resided here since 1945, coming from Millersburg IN.  Her husband, John, died on September 25, 1959.  Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Cybella Stone, Mrs. Mary Lindley and Mrs. Rosetta Singler, all of South Bend, and Mrs. Mable Probst of Sturgis; three sons, John Jr. of Gary; Bernard of Shipshewana and Lawrence of Coldwater MI; 16 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Earl Greenawalt, of Chicago. 

Friends may call after 1pm Tuesday in the Hickey Funeral Home.  She was a member of St Joseph’s Catholic Church and the Altar and Rosary Society of the church.
