Agatha Lawson, 36, of North Birdsell
Street, South Bend, Ind., passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 8, in
Cleveland, Ohio. Agatha was born to the union of Manzell and
Roberta (Davis) Lawson Jr. on July 17, 1964, in Bolton,
Miss. Coming from Compton, Calif., she had lived in South Bend
for the past six years. She was a certified nursing assistant.
She is survived by three daughters, Quiana Njoku,
Sharnitra Lawson and Dorothy R. Holmes; a son, Reader T.
Holmes Jr.; her mother, Roberta Davis-Lawson, all of South Bend;
her father, Manzell Lawson Jr. of Peoria, Ill.; one brother,
Eugene Lawson-Davis of Pasadena, Calif.; godparents, Apostle
Tommie and Pastor C. G. Lawrence of South Bend; along with a host
of aunts, uncles, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on
Friday, Nov. 17, in God's House of Prayer for all Nations, 760
South Michigan Street. Interment will follow at Highland
Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today, Nov. 16, in
Alford's Mortuary where arrangements have been entrusted.
