Agnes Arch Laskowski, 85, of South Bend, IN, passed away at 4:25 p.m. Saturday, January 13, 2001, in Holy Cross Care and Rehabilitation Center. Mrs. Laskowski had worked at Wilson Brothers, then later retired from the University of Notre Dame after 16 years of service. She was born on January 25, 1915, in South Bend, to Thomas and Vera Arch, who preceded her in death.

On June 17, 1939, in South Bend, she married Ernest Laskowski, who also preceded her in death. She is survived by a daughter, Tina Laskowski of South Bend, IN; two sons, Dale (Hui Suk) Laskowski and Al Laskowski, both of South Bend; an ex daughter-in-law, whom she looked on as a daughter, Gail Laskowski of South Bend; a sister, Teresa Pallo of Cape Coral, FL; two brothers, Steve (Angela) Arch and John Arch, both of South Bend; four grandchildren, Jamee Laskowski, Jennifer Laskowski, Stacy Brugh and Tina Laskowski; and six great-grandchildren, Tay-Marie, Ashley, Kyle, Andrea, Eric and Matthew. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Thomas, Charles and Alex Arch; a sister, Vera Tamandli; and by a grandson, Brian Laskowski.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 17, 2001, in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive. A private family committal service will immediately follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. today in the funeral home.
