Brother Alfred CSC died at Notre Dame last night. He had been at Notre Dame for 20 years. Funeral arrangements have not been made yet.

Funeral services over the remains of Brother Alfred CSC, whose worldly name was Timothy Larkin, who died at Notre Dame Monday night, were held at at Sacred Heart Church, Notre Dame, this morning. Internment was in the Notre Dame Community Cemetery.

He was born in Ireland May 23, 1832. He had been at Notre Dame since 1861 and was the master mason for nearly all of the building on the institution.
