Laura M. Lannoo

Laura M. Lannoo, 94, formerly of W. 7th Street, Mishawaka, passed away January 31 in Countryside Place Nursing and Rehabilitation Center after an illness. Laura was born on April 6, 1907, in South Bend, as the daughter of the late Charles and Maria (Huyvaert) Vincent.

On January 14, 1939, as Laura Vincent, in St. Bavo's Catholic Church in Mishawaka, she married Julius Lannoo, who preceded her in death on March 15, 1994. Laura was also preceded in death by one daughter, Mary Anne Lannoo on October 20, 1991; and a brother, John Lannoo in 1906. Laura is survived by a daughter, Nancy (Merwyn) Kusnierek of South Bend; and three grandchildren, Gena (David) Sumner, their children, Kyle and Chase; Kevin (Grace) Kusnierek, their children, Michael and Will; Lisa (Jeffrey) Hammes and their child, Claire. Laura was a lifetime area resident and a member of St. Bavo's Catholic Church in Mishawaka.

Friends may call from 2:00 pm.. to 4:00 p.m. today, February 3rd, in Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka, where a Rosary will be recited at 4:00 p.m. in the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, February 4, in St. Bavo's Catholic Church, Mishawaka, with Rev. Barry England officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka.
